Directions by Starting Location

From Interstate 89 (Burlington)

From Interstate 89 take exit number 13 for I-189 to Route 7 (Shelburne and Burlington).

Sign before exit 13 mentions exit is also for Vergennes and Middlebury.

Travel 1 mile on Interstate 189 then take a left (South) onto Route 7 (Shelburne Road).

Travel 20 miles then turn right onto Route 22A (Vergennes).

Continue on Route 22A (Main St.) through Vergennes.

Travel 7 Miles to Route 17, which is a right (West) at the Addison General Store.

From Middlebury

Travel Northwest on Route 23 from Middlebury through Weybridge until Route 23 ends.

Turn left onto Route 17.

From Rutland

Travel West on Route 4 to New Haven, Vergennes exit, turn right onto 22A.

Travel north to route 125 to the Champlain Bridge.

Coming from New York going North on Interstate 87

Traveling North on Interstate 87 take exit 28.

Take Route 74 (Ticonderoga).

Route 9 North out of Ticonderoga.

Turn Right at "Bridge to Vermont"

Coming from New York going South on Interstate 87

Travel 15 miles on Route 9 then turn left (East) onto Route 903.

Follow the signs to the Champlain Bridge.

Finding the Inn heading West on Route 17

Heading West on Route 17, cross Route 22A and travel through the Dead Creek Wildlife Reserve.

Turn right (North) at the West Addison General Store onto Lake Street.

The Barsen House Inn is located one mile North on the left at the corner of Tri-Town Road.

Finding the Inn heading East from the Champlain Bridge

After getting off the bridge take the first left (North) onto Route 17.

From Route 17 (heading North) bear left at the West Addison General Store (WAGS) turning on to Lake Street (heading North).

One mile on Lake Street to the Barsen House Inn on the left at the corner of Tri-Town Road and Lake Street.
